Photos from our Remembrance Day Service on Nov 11, 2018
This Remembrance Day marked the 100th anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War. We marked this occasion with a special presentation from some students from Adam Scott CVI, who for the past few years have been conducting researching on soldiers from the Peterborough and surrounding area. As a result, a web page has been created. This page contains names, biographies and images relating to 63 local soldiers. The web page can be reached at www.ascvisoldiermuseum.ca. In particular, we will hear from two of these students who were responsible for researching information on three young men who belonged to All Saints’ Anglican Church-Leonard Blake and brothers, Stanley and Benjamin Rippingale.
