Our Philosophy

Youth and Family Ministry – Why We Do it, and How We do it

Youth and Family Ministry is an essential part of any church community. Walking alongside children, youth, and families together on their journey reflects an understanding that faith development doesn’t only happen inside the church, but it involves the whole church family. Youth and Family Ministry is based on three key pillars; leading young people and their families to a deeper connection with God, with one another, and with safe and supportive adults in the parish community. We support young people and their families by meeting their needs, and providing opportunities for discipleship, formation and loving relationships! This takes shape in many ways: fun Day Camps, Youth Group events, Children’s Focus Sundays, music programming, Bible study, neighbourhood outreach, and cheering kids on at their performances and sports. We also provide parents and caregivers with resources to support a life of faith at home through meaningful conversations and seasonal at-home discipleship kits, complete with exciting crafts and treats.

We are looking forward to Summer Camp

Jul 1 - July 5 - Under the Sea

and

Aug 26 - Aug 30

1 week of fun and learning this winter and we hope to see you there!

Children 4 - 12 years of age  ~  Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm  ~  Field trip and tons of fun!

Cost $150/child per week ~ we are committed to access for all children, camperships are available,

a pay-what-you-can sliding scale is available  - just give us a call.

All Saints’ Discovery Camp is an action-packed, fun-filled discovery of faith and community.

All week long, through crafts, games, drama, music, science experiments, and play, we discover exciting things about God, our world, and each other. On Thursday we take a field trip, where we explore and learn more about this planet and our history. On Friday afternoon we have a party and invite the whole family to come and see what we have learned together.

Finally, on the Sunday after camp, we have “Show-and-Tell Sunday” –

where campers are invited to show the grown-ups at All Saints’ all the things they learned at Camp

(and maybe have some celebratory treats too!).

It’s going to be a blast!

All Saints' practices economic equity - no child is turned away for financial reasons!
