A Community where everyone is welcome!
All Saints' is driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We are engaged in the Loving ~ Liberating ~ Life Giving practices of Jesus the Christ. We are committed to living out the message of hope and compassion of Jesus the Christ. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through community, worship, advocacy, and justice activities, we work tirelessly each day to contribute to the common good.
We are a tapestry of people trying to follow Jesus, we are anchored in our Anglican tradition and beautiful worship, we are steeped in prayer, and we seek out the leading of the Spirit of God.
We are excited about what lies ahead. Add your voice and journey to this life giving tapestry.
All Saints' is re-opeing for in person Worship
Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 9:30am
That is the date and time All Saints' will re-opening its beautiful sanctuary for in person worship. We will be offering one service on Sundays at 9:30am, and one mid week service on Thursday mornings at 10am.
We are working hard to make sure that our worship is meaningful and evocative; this is no easy task amidst the pandemic safety protocols of masks and physical distancing. There is an excellent video created by the Diocese of Toronto click here to watch it. Here is what you can expect when you arrive for any service at All Saints’:
You will be met outside at the office entrance door by a sides person who will check with you about the symptoms posted on signs
There will be markings on the ground, please stay at least 6 feet from your neighbour. If you have come as a family, your family can remain together.
Masks are mandatory. You are invited to bring your own, we also have masks available, both disposable and cloth.
You will be seated by a sides person. Once seated we ask that you remain in your seat. The washroom is available and we ask that if possible it be used before service. If you need to leave for any reason a sides person will assist in directing you.
Communion will be offered in one kind only. You will be invited to receive the bread. No wine will be consumed. Instructions for communion will be given at the beginning of the service, please follow the directions of the sides people.
When service is over please remain in your seat until a sides person directs you.
I recognize this sounds like a lot of steps and necessities. We are confident that as the weeks go by the process will be come quick and seamless - just part of our new normal.
